Being trained at several national and international art schools since the age of 13, for Carolien every client is a blank canvas. Although she was born into a family of hairdressers, -both her grandfather and her father owned a big salon-, she needed a firm fatherly push before getting hooked on hair. Once convinced that hairstyling was in her blood she moved to Chicago to study the world renowned Pivot Point technique in which she is also qualified to teach by now. Having mastered every art technique from 2D to 3D, Caroline is convinced that hairstyling is a 4-dimensional affair. No matter how creative and personal each hairdo is, she can’t help but perform it in technical perfection.
