There is an article in the new Blend about Hrafnhildur Arnardóttir, an artist who nearly only works with the medium "hair".
She collaborated with photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin on the amazing artwork for Bjork's Medulla album.

Edgar Degas

Degas is often identified as an Impressionist, an understandable but insufficient description. Impressionism originated in the 1860s and 1870s and grew, in part, from the realism of such painters as Courbet and Corot.
