Together with Hester and Siko, La Toya Velberg (04.10.1983) forms the core team of Sebastian in the Netherlands. After high school, La Toya wanted to be creative and ended up in hair school. “That’s where I fell in love with hair.” After growing in the business for a few years she was asked to come work for Sebastian Professional. “This was a huge eye opener. Here is where I learned to look at shapes and really be creative with hair. Awesome!” Ever moving and ever growing, La Toya now travels the world to train other teams of Sebastian Professionals.

Inspiration
“I get a lot of inspiration from the streets. Cities like Berlin and New York give me enormous energy. But also when I’m at the beach the waves for example can really inspire me.”

What can one expect when they take a seat in your coif chair?
“That’s different every day. I’m always evolving and will try to get inspired by my surroundings. But what I always do is make beautiful hair. I always get a good look at the client and really try to get into the hair and create inner layers.”
